April 2008 / Documentary Flevopark Festival 2008 - The Making Of ! A documentary commissioned by the organisers of a two day festival in the east of Amsterdam. This is the first time the festival has been organised on such a large and costly scale so the risks involved increase proportionately. The festival is intended to reinforce the social cohesion in a multicultural neighbourhood in Amsterdam by encouraging the local people from all walks of life to work together toward a common goal. It was made possible by a multitude of enthousiastic volunteers and took place on the 24th and 25th of May. The preparation of the event was however not without fault.The organisers are now confronted with the aftermath. The documentary is still being shot.
