Meest digitaal raadslid van Nederland

    Van 2002 tot 2006 was ik raadslid voor GroenLinks in Amsterdam Zeeburg. In 2003, werd ik uitgeroepen als 'Meest Digitaal raadslid' van het jaar door een jury onder de voorzitterschap van Jacques Wallage. Dit gebeurde in het kader van het initiatief 'Digitale Raadslid 2.0' van het Instituut voor Publiek en Politiek, een project van Steven Lenos. In 2008 is mijn weblog opgenomen in het Stadsarchief van de Gemeente Amsterdam.

Workshop Colourful Neighbourhoods and the Management of Diversity

Op 7 november verzorg ik in Luxembourg een worskhop over sociaal werk in de multiculturele buurt in het kader van de Algemene Vergadering van het Europees Vrijwilligerscentrum.

The next CEV General Assembly will be held at the European Parliament premises in Luxembourg on 7th and 8th of  November 2008. The conference will focus on "Volunteering and Intercultural Dialogue", CEV's contribution to the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008. We will be exploring and defining the meaning of "Intercultural Dialogue", its different aspects with which volunteering can be related to, and present good practice of CEV members as well as of the invited organisations on how volunteering can foster intercultural dialogue and intercultural learning.
